As a little passion project I built an atproto link aggregator service in Elixir and this post goes into some detail about why I'm doing this and how it works.

Very glad to see this emerge! I've been loving bubbles and am sure this will surface similarly brilliant stuff.

yay, I'm glad! I've been enjoying using it, would love for a little community to grow around it

Funny to see Lobsters mentioned, we've had [an open issue for bsky/atproto integration](https://github.com/lobsters/lobsters/issues/1248) open for years. I suspect it's been stalled because of impedance mismatch, we've thought of atproto as a service to connect to rather than a data layer to build on. The latter would be a big risky lift for us. For seeding - would you like me to dump you a list of every domain linked from Lobsters stories and comments in the last year or something? You could loop them to detect rss feeds to build up your blog list. Email/DM me if that's useful, or you'd like to chat about anything related to running a forum. Good luck!

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

This is really cool! But there are other link aggregators on the Atmosphere, like upvote.at. Wouldn't it be cool if they all interoperated? Ideally by all using the same lexicon, but failing that, at least by understanding each others' lexicons and merging the data. Another thought, it might be cool if likes and shares of the link on Bluesky counted as upvotes too – what do you think?

Another thought, it would be cool if I could like and reply to posts in the "Discussions on Bluesky" section straight from Shelf.

Yes, definitely on the radar!
